6 Train the Trainers; train the students and train the administrators
Activities include
- train staff on project management & monitoring;
- train lecturers & technical staff on module/course and template development,
- train online lecturers & technical staff in feeding learning materials into the platform, use of the SME2KE e-learning platform, online didactics, and assessment;
- CSIR/UNIBO train, via blended mode of learning (two weeks online & two week face to face), lecturers & technical staff in theory, practical and simulation/modelling of LbM technology through the ELbM summer school;
- CSIR/UNIBO train online lecturers & technical staff on initiating, establishing, and sustaining academia-industry research collaboration;
- UNIBO trains online lecturers in postgraduate supervision;
- TU Ilmenau trains lecturers & technical staff (in blended mode) in practical application of BDS, ML, and AI to the MEE modules (digitisation of manufacturing processes);
- BIUST train online students in the use of the SME2KE e-learning platform;
- CSIR/NMU/UNIBO train, via blended mode of learning, students on theory, practical and simulation/modelling of LbM technology;
- CSIR/BIUST/TUI train students on practical application of BDS, ML and AI in LbM digitization of manufacturing processes);
- UNIBO trains online support staff from internationalisation directorate in their support and roles for organising and managing student/staff mobility;
- BIUST trains online staff from quality assurance directorates in their support and regulatory roles.
Indicators of success with milestones include:
- Project management and monitoring training manual; training & report;

- blended (online & face to face) training for staff on theory/practical/simulation & modelling of LbM technology;

- online training for internationalisation directorate staff in their support and regulatory roles;
- online training for quality assurance directorate staff in their support and regulatory roles.
